Welcome to the virtual programme for the Broker Innovation Awards 2023. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about the awards ceremony, from who’s hosting and what’s on the menu, to the all-important shortlist.
Kicking off the programme below is an introduction from Vivienne Hexter, who chaired the independent judging panel.
On behalf of the judging panel, welcome to the 2023 Broker Innovation Awards. We gather to celebrate the accomplishments of organisations and professionals from across the industry.
Anthony Pompliano (a US entrepreneur and technology investor) once said “True innovation comes from those willing to break the rules.”
As judging panel we have been really impressed with the quality of entries this year – from ingenious use of technology, the creation of new products, to the adoption of client-first practices – all of which demonstrate that the broking community is truly thriving and committed to wholesome progress.
In particular though, I would like to call out our younger generation brokers whose ideas and passion shone through in a number of the entries. Well done to you all – fantastic work.
But I also recognise that innovation requires the full support of the wider firm. Innovation starts at the top, whereby creativity and curiosity is embraced at all levels. A culture that encourages individuals to think freely, to question the status quo, and to come up with new ideas. Where everyone no matter their age, gender, ethnicity, or background has a valued voice.
So my heartfelt congratulations to everyone – nominees and winners. Your passion, and commitment to innovation inspires us all.
Join us from 7pm at 10 Godliman Street, EC4V 5AJ London
